Today I would like to say that email marketing and what are its 10 basic elements.
This means direct marketing by sending commercial e-mail to your existing or potential customers. For example, if you receive an email from a bank to inform you about their car lending at low interest rates, or a clothing brand company send you an email with the pictures of their last shirts or jackets .Sending commercial emails to existing customers about new product introduction / launch. Overall emails can be classified into personal, transactional or Direct where average personal email send an email to your friends about your recent hike in the mountains. Transactional email is an email that was triggered by your actions with a company as a credit card company send you an email about the realization of a recent purchase paid for by credit card. Direct E-mails are the ones I mentioned above, they are mostly promotional messages. So it is basically communicating about your business to your customers in the form of an e-mail.
But why is it used by companies or traders? Simple answer to this question is that Internet users are increasing and so are mail users. As per Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) press release quarterly total number of internet subscribers increased by 251.59 million at the end of March 2014 to 259,140,000 at the end of June 2014 making India the third largest Internet user after the US and China. As many customers are on the Internet to reach effectively and increase sales we need to know the basics of email marketing, a good computer and an Internet connection are configured the first elements, but other than that Below are the 10 basic elements:
